Student & Graduate Conference

On April 17 and 18, there will be a Student & Graduate Conference with Participants from Media Studies, American Studies, Film Studies, English Studies and Journalism from Universities around the world. Participation is free and snacks and drinks will also be provided!

There will also be a workshop with the title "Transcultural Remediation" lead by Prof. Dr. Astrid Erll. If you're interested in participating in the workshop, please register via mail.

Upcoming Conferences in the Break!

Two interesting conferences are coming up in the semester break, one on Everyday Heroism in the U.S., Germany and Britain and one Military Heroism in the U.S., organized by Dr. Simon Wendt. These conferences can be used for your Academic Training module! The first one will be held on March 6-7 2015 and here is the program

The second conference is on Marxch 20-21 2015 and here is the program.

You can attend single lectures or the entire conference for credit points or just out of interest :) This might also help decide on a BA or MA thesis topic, so be inspired!
